The car insurance specialist, the Cooperative has stated that the cost of your motor insurance does depend on where you live in the country.
According to a new study the cheapest place in the UK to get car insurance is in Cornwall, the average premium cost for insurance is about £355.72.
Scotland is also a great place for cheap motor insurance as they have the lowest priced insurance cover in seven locations and they are all in the top 10 for the UK.
It is true that a lot of the car insurance providers do increase ones premium if you do live in an location that is deemed to be high risk for crime, and that’s even if you have a clean driving record with no claims of convictions.
