More Than Sees Eco Friendly Motoring On The Rise
Published: 16/10/08
According to data provided by More Than Insurance there are a large number of UK car drivers who would consider swapping their car for something more eco friendly.
If the hybrid cars were cheaper to run than normal cars then a large majority of car owners would seriously consider changing to them. From an insurance perspective, as More Than insurance will confirm, the cost of repairs should a hybrid car suffer damage is greater than a regular car, making car insurance premiums for hybrids higher than normal cars.
The rising cost of petrol will certainly help the take up of hybrid vehicles, with almost three quarters of those taking part in the More Than Insurance survey being very concerned about fuel prices.
